There are so many amazing apps for virtual assistants and I often wonder to myself, what was life before smartphones? Like seriously, as a digital entrepreneur life would look so incredibly different for me. We have such an advantage with technology, social media, and apps. You can build an entire business and clientele off of Instagram and connect with millions via Pinterest. And, you can implement apps to streamline your processes and simplify your workday.
As a virtual assistant, my entire day is spent on my phone and laptop using a ton of different apps throughout the day. So, today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite apps for virtual assistants that are a must-have when it comes to business and assisting entrepreneurs.
First I’ll start with the app I couldn’t run my business without! Trello is amazing for keeping track of everything you have to do and furthering the communication between you and your clients. I have a Trello board set up with each one of my clients featuring all of the tasks I have for that week, the due dates, and comments sections!
Honeybook is my favorite CRM platform and is the hub for my entire business. It’s where I store and send contracts, invoices, and questionnaires. It keeps track of my profit and loss statements as well as a pipeline with all current projects and clients. It’s another app that helps me to stay organized and extend communication with clients. It’s absolutely worth the investment in my opnion.
Lastpass is another one of those apps that were a total game-changer for me. Storing clients’ passwords in a secure way is of the utmost importance to me and the last pass was the perfect solution for that. It also makes switching between accounts super easy as it auto-fills log-in information for me both on the computer and in apps on my phone.
Moving away from business management apps and switching gears to social media managing apps- let’s start with Planoly! Planoly is my all-time favorite app for planning out clients’ Instagram feeds. I’m able to fully schedule them with captions, hashtags, geotags, etc. Out of all of the scheduling apps I’ve used, it’s the most user-friendly and sleek to use.
Are you even a social media manager if you don’t use tailwind??? Tailwind is the BEST app to schedule your pins for Pinterest through. It enables me to do scheduling in a super-efficient way and has a bunch of other cool features as well!
Last but certainly not least, we have canva. A great app to use if you aren’t super artistic and need a little help with the design. Canva has thousands of templates to start with and makes designing a breeze. I love canva for making my Instagram graphics and guides for my business.
